Claude Monet was a French painter and a founding artist of the Impressionist movement, which changed the world of art in the late 19th century. He is known for his focus on capturing the effects of light and atmosphere. Monet mostly painted landscapes and scenes from nature, working outdoors to capture fleeting moments. His technique involved short, thick brushstrokes and a lighter color palette, which helped convey movement and changing light.

Salvador Dali, a Spanish surrealist artist known for his dreamlike, eccentric, and bizarre imagery. He used precise techniques to depict distorted fantastical scenes, drawing inspiration from his subconscious mind and Freudian theory. Dali's most famous work, The Persistence of Memory is of melting clocks and is a prime example of his ability to blend reality with dreamlike fantasy. His eccentric behavior made him a popular person as well as an influential artist. Dali's contributions to surrealism left a lasting impact on 20th-century art.

Vincent van Gogh

Vincent van Gogh was a Post-Impressionist painter known for his expressive use of color and emotions. He produced over 2,000 artworks. He struggled with mental health issues and poverty throughout his life. His modern art was bold brushstrokes and vibrant, dynamic pieces. His style focused on capturing the emotions of his subjects often through thick swirling forms. Though he gained little recognition during his lifetime, van Gogh is now regarded as one of the most influential figures in Western art history.
