Bar Reviews
- The first bar I’m reviewing is the Maple Leaf Restaurant and Bar. I’m giving it 4/5 stars because this bar is really about the experience. They have trivia, karaoke, comedy night, etc. it’s a great time and they really use the fact that they are in a college town, whenever I go the vibe is always good and so is the food! Overall great experience.

The second bar I’m reviewing is my favorite recommendation 5/5. The Backroom is a great bar for a little dancing and their drinks. It was the first bar I went to when I turned 21 and their drinks are amazing as well as the service. The people who go there are some young people and some middle aged and everyone seems to mesh well together. You can order entries but the main thing people get are the appetizers because its majority a bar. The set up is so well done, the bar is huge and is in the middle of the room with smaller tables and a little dining area on the side.
- My third bar review is Colins Tavern. The bar is a little crowded and it's more male-dominated for some reason. If you're looking for a cocktail or a fancy drink, this is not the place. It's more beer and tap drinks here. The atmosphere is fun; they have some music and pool tables. The staff is friendly and quick to serve, but it can get a bit noisy, especially on weekends when the place fills up. Despite the casual vibe, it’s a good spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a relaxed evening. I give this bar a 3.5/5.

The fourth review is the wood and tap, I tried not to review chain establishments, but this was the only one I could do since I’ve only recently been able to drink. The space is very modern, and they have a wide range of drinks along with good food. I’m rating this a 3.5/5 because even though it has a bar you are more likely to order an entre as well. The staff is great it’s cheaper than other places around.
