Youtube is probably my overall favorite social media platforms becasue I enjoy longer well edited videos compared to quick and short videos. Whenever I eat I always throw on a youtube video, I don't know it's just a habit of mine. I always got to watch something when I eat. I really enjoy watching sports hightlights, fitness content, show recaps and occasionally shorts films. I definetly give credit to the creator of the channel because it's not easy to make a longer video and have perform well. There's a lot of effort that goes into having a channel that most people don't know about and that why I have respect for these creators.
Instagram is my second favorite social media platforms due to the different options it gives to people. Weather that's that's growing a buisness or marketing yourself and promotong whatever follows along with your niche. Instagram is a great place to get your name out there and network. When it comes to the content I consume it's mainly motivational, fitness, or nutrtion videos which all follow under my niche. It gives me ideas and inspiration to make content of my own.
I mainly go on TikTok when I'm bored or looking for a good laugh. I see some the most funniest videos on there. You can get pretty creative with TikTok and it's changed people lives when it comes to their career path. It's another great place to market yourself and that's the true power of social media. Everyone should take advantage of the power that social media brings to the table, especially for us Communcation majors.
